Inspired by the simplicity of Japanese furniture, the Tanso Armchair from the Tanso garden furniture range bridges the gap between outdoors and indoors by elevating the craftsmanship, quality and detail of outdoor furniture. Designed by David Irwin and constructed from grade-A teak, the Tanso Armchair is highly robust and weather resistant for outdoor use, yet it’s elegant and detailed aesthetic also affords it a place inside.

  • Care:  The Bench can be cleaned using warm water with diluted mild detergent to clean off the dirt that has formed over time and using a soft bristle brush. Regular cleanings will help to keep the original golden appearance of the teak if desired. There are also specific teak cleaning products available.store the cushions indoors when not in use. They can be wiped clean with water and a mild detergent.
  • Features: Over time the teak will start to change colour going from a rich golden colour to silver-grey. This is naturally how the timber ages in sunlight and weathering.
  • Note: Available with a removable seat cushion, upholstered in Sunbrella ® fabric, for enhanced comfort.

We deliver great design across the UK. Depending on the size and fragility of your order, it will be shipped either by courier or with our dedicated third-party service.

If you are local to Oxford we also offer a collection service from our warehouse based in OX4. Please select 'Pick Up' at the check out.

This item is made to order especially for you, using the finest materials and craftsmanship. We will order the items for you and keep you updated on the progress. The lead time displayed is for guidance and is an estimate for the typical delivery time for the product & can be subject to change. Once your order has been confirmed with the supplier, we will be in touch to provide an ETA.
